Nothing like the original series. If you forget the original series and the violence, if it has a good plot, then this could be a great film.
None of the charecters look right though. The pokemon need a bit more grittyness to them there CGI is poor in standards to other films. Either way, i`ll pay to buy this film on DVD, maybe see it in Cinema. However, it doesnt look like something you`ll enjoy many times over.
Yeah, I hope it’s a rough version, definitely not a final product. I’m not opposed to the idea of a gritty, violent adaptation of Pokemon. Maybe they realize that the majority of their fan base is now older so they feel they need to age the series a little bit. I’ve noticed, particularly with lower budget films, when they do an adaptation, the main characters will share a name or costume, but won’t really look or act like the characters in the source material.
