Count one more loss in the ongoing war against copyright bullying. Mininova has settled for an undisclosed amount.

In August 2009, popular torrent site Mininova was forced to shut down its torrent tracker because Dutch copyright advocate group BREIN filed a complaint against them for enabling people to infringe the copyright for the Uwe Boll adaptation of the video game ‘Far Cry‘.

Although they settled for an undisclosed amount, it’s probably more than Far Cry made on its own.
