As if cats weren’t already creepy, now they have a touch of the supernatural by sharing physical traits with werewolves. But the good news is they act like dogs – loyal to their owners, playful and friendly.  The ‘Lykol’ is a new breed of cat created by Tennessee-based breeders. Lykol translates roughly as ‘wolf cat’ in Greek and fits because the cat is missing hair around its eyes and other facial features giving it the appearance of a werewolf.

“There was no human intervention to create the cat,” said breeder Johnny Gobble. “The gene is a natural mutation that appeared in the domestic cat population. We are simply using the genetics of natural processes.”
